Post photos and short videos (60 seconds or less) on My Motorcycle Story Weekend - July 25th, 26th and 27th 2014 showing your history of motorcycles and including the stories associated with them.  You can post as many photos or videos as you like - in fact the more the merrier as we are trying to get the hashtag #MyMotorcycleStory  to trend on Google+ and raise the profile and image of motorcycling here.

New to motorcycling?  That’s great because we want to hear your story of why you started riding too.  We would love to see every motorcyclist on Google+ and elsewhere posting at least one story over that weekend.  It is important to include the hashtag#MyMotorcycleStory  so that we can find your posts.

If you're out on the weekend of July 25th, 26th and 27th and you see a bike like one you used to own why not take a photo of it and ask the owner how they got started?  Let’s use our online motorcycle social networking to add to our real life social networking.

The hashtag #MyMotorcycleStory  should first be used on July 25th 2014 if this campaign is to be successful. Please don't use it before this date, thank you.

Celebrating 7,000 Members

The World Motorcycle Community #WoMoCo has now reached a total of 7,000 members and to celebrate we've expanded the reach of our community by doing the following:

First of all we have set up a Hub Page at womoco.org where you can see all of our resources for motorcyclists. There are plenty of them!

Secondly we have set-up this Blog so that we can expand on the stories posted on #WoMoCo and bring even more coverage of the world of motorcycling and the people involved in it.

The third thing we have done is to set up a #WoMoCo Twitter account @WoMoCo_org so that we can spread the posts even wider and hopefully draw more people in to our ever growing and active community.

World Motorcycle Community Passes 900 Members

I'm happy to announce that the World Motorcycle Community (#womoco) on Google+ has just exceeded 900 members.
We held a special World MotorbikeMonday on Jan 7th 2013 in conjunction with the +#MotorBikeMonday page which saw lots of motorcycle related photo’s published to Google+ with the hashtags #womoco and #motorbikemonday.  #womoco was 9th in the Google+ Trending list that day.

Monday 20 June is International Ride to Work Day, when motorbike and scooter riders turn their daily commute into an enjoyable trip on two wheels. And by riding to work we can also show how the world would be a better place if more people rode motorcycles and scooters every day.

21st May 2011 - North West 200

The Relentless International North West 200 road race returns on the 21st of May 2011

The Relentless International North West 200 is Ireland’s largest outdoor sporting event, attracting crowds in excess of 100,000 as well as the biggest names in the sport including Michael Rutter, Guy Martin, Ryan Farquhar and Michael and William Dunlop. Taking place annually in May, the Relentless International North West 200 circuit runs between the towns of Portrush, Portstewart and Coleraine – an area of outstanding natural beauty and home to the world famous Giant’s Causeway.

The triangle circuit is one of the fastest in the world, and 2010's event saw Stuart Easton from Scotland smash the fastest speed record by reaching 204mph!
