The American Adventure Rider's Challenge—May 15th to 18th 2008


If you've ever been inspired by the conquests of the Paris-Dakar Rally or the Baja 1000, your chance has come to partake in America's  ultimate opportunity to test your enduro skills, socialize with other adventure lovers and get fed like a king!

The three-day Adventure Rider’s Challenge at RawHyde Adventures in Castaic, California is open to all levels of dual-sport riders. RawHyde welcomes both “Adventurers” to ride the challenge and “Challengers” who want to throw their cards on the table and compete! From log jumps to hill climbs to water crossings and more, the Adventure Rider’s Challenge will certainly put your skills to the test.

On top of the challenges, there are also daily adventure rides through the beautiful hills surrounding RawHyde, gourmet food and live music to enjoy in the evenings.

What’s included: Darn near everything... your campsite, 10 meals, three-days of fabulous riding, entertainment, a leather-bound log book for recording your adventures and a riding jersey emblazoned with the logo of the event

RawHyde’s Adventure Rider’s Challenge will also feature some of the most experienced coaches one could ask for, including six-time ISDE gold medalist, Jack Penton, ten-time Baja 1000 gold medalist, Larry Roesler, and 2004 Paris-Dakar competitor, Paul Krause.

  1. Rode this event for a few days, May 15th thru 18th, 2008 and had an incredible time riding over hills, obstacles, ramps, sand, water, mud, etc..tested my body and my bike. Haven't had a good time like this in a long time. A must for any adventurer or enduro rider that thinks that can can ride, or those that can!! Amazing time was had by myself and all. Can't wait until next year.
