Rossi Wins MotoGP China 2008

In what looked like a dull race on a dull day at a track with few spectators Valentino Rossi pushed his Yamaha to the very edge of its capabilities to take a victory in the Chinese MotoGP to win by nearly 4 seconds after a seven-race winless streak.
Dani Pedrosa came in second after clinging to Rossi's tail for most of the race and a long way back, nearly 16 seconds behind Rossi, came Casey Stoner in third.
The race may have looked fairly boring at the front but Rossi rode a fantastic race and clearly outpaced and outrode the rest of the field.
Jorge Lorenzo fought back with a fractured ankle to take fourth place and keep in the title contention.
Rossi was really animated after the race and in his interview with Spanish TVE he joked with Angel Nieto that he had equalled his record and only needs one more win to take it.  What is that record?
