UK Learners - Take Your Bike Test Now

image I saw on the Bikes in the Fast Lane Blog that UK laws for the driving test are changing in October 2008.

MCI’s (Motor Cycle Industry Association) Craig Carey-Clinch, talking about the TakeYourTestNow website, said: “The good news is that new elements to testing and training will help riders understand more about the capabilities of their bikes. However, the prospect of increased training costs and a reduction in the number of test centres across the UK (from 260 current centres to around 60 or 70), it is going to make it much harder and more expensive to undertake the necessary training.  Our message is clear. We are encouraging anyone thinking about getting their motorcycle licence to do so now. Whether you are a current non-rider looking to do your CBT or an existing CBT holder wanting to take your full licence, this website has been designed to provide you with all the information you will need in one, easy to find place.”
